The History of Burlington: The Lives We Lived
Burlington is a community with a long and interesting history, and in 2006, members of the Burlington CAP Site produced The History of Burlingon: The Lives We Lived. They endevoured to chroncicle Burlington's past, and did so with the help of many residents. With those stories, plus government records, and patience, they compiled this book. What follows is the internet version, based on the 2nd edition (revised in 2007). Townofburlington.ca thanks Josh Thomas, April Kelly, Robin Lush, Jordan Foster, and all others who volunteered their time.
This book hopes to accurately and engagingly tell the story of our community, Burlington. Included is information about its beginnings, ways of life, accomplishments and disasters.
